UPDATE: The GCPD has issued a statement on the shooting:
“Glynn County GA— On November 2, 2022, at approximately 11 pm, officers with the Glynn County Police Department were flagged down in the area of Old Jesup Road and Glyndale Drive by the driver of a silver four door sedan. The driver requested help due to her and her passenger being the victims of a shooting. The driver was transported to Southeast Georgia Health Systems (Brunswick campus) for treatment of a gunshot wound. The passenger of the car was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The coroner's office has confirmed they were called to a death last night, as social media was abuzz about a shooting that occurred around 11 last night in the parking lot of a convenince store located at the intersection of Old Jesup Road and Glyndale Drive.
