A crash on I-95 right at the start of the busy holiday weekend has shut down both sides of the interstate as authorities handle a sizable number of injuries and a fatality.
The crash occurred around mile marker one on I-95 near the state line and involved multiple tractor trailers and passenger vehicles. Eight people were reportedly being treated for injuries received in the crash, and one person has died.
A second fatality has been reported as a result of this crash.
