From Glynn County Police:
On September 14, 2021 about 9:00 PM Glynn County Police responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the area of 3700 Cochran Avenue, Brunswick GA.
On arrival, Patrol officers made contact with numerous persons and determined one juvenile had been shot. The juvenile had been taken by private vehicle to Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus prior to police arrival.
Patrol officers located several spent casings in the immediate area and secured the location.
Criminal Investigations Division personnel were summoned and are currently investigating this incident. The investigation is ongoing and information is still being gathered at this time.
The victim was treated for their injury. The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time.
