Last week we had a mailbag where a listener asked if it was okay to buy a TV just to watch the Super Bowl on and then return it after the game.
Lunchbox was the only one on the show who thought it was okay. So, he called a major electronics store to find out if it’s frowned upon or if it’s okay to buy a TV to watch once and then return. During the call with the customer service rep, they said if he had the receipt, box and serial number, he could return it within 14-days after the purchase. As long as it’s the same TV that’s returned and has no damage, they have no problem with someone buying a TV just to use for a day and then return.
