Glennville, GA (January 24, 2020)– On Friday, January 24, 2020, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office arrested a sixteen-year-old juvenile on charges of Murder for the death of his ten-year-old sibling.
On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, the GBI was requested by the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a death investigation. On January 22, 2020, the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an unresponsive person on Barnard Road, Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia. The victim was subsequently transported to a hospital and pronounced deceased.
The victim was transported to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy on January 23, 2020, to determine cause of death. Preliminary results show the victim was strangled to death.
