Miranda Lambert is lighting up lower Broadway with “Kerosene” as the first female to open a honky-tonk in downtown Nashville.
Miranda’s ‘Casa Rosa Tex-Mex Cantina’ opened its big pink and black doors to the public in May, and the town has been buzzing ever since.
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, “Vice” singer two-stepped her way into a conversation about tacos and tequila and revealed the one menu item she says is a “must try!”
“It’s cool to have!” says Miranda with excitement. “First of all, I am the first woman ever to have a bar on Broadway which makes me so proud. I also love Tex-Mex, and I have a little area that I can go that is private, but I can still be part of everything.”
“A lot of can’t just go to Broadway anymore because, thankfully, it’s a crazy town down there,” laughs Miranda. “Which makes me happy because country music is thriving. I knew it would come back bigger than ever, and it is! So that makes me really happy.”
“The one that is the closest to me,” Miranda teases. “Is the gringo tacos. It’s like a crunchy beef taco, and it makes me really happy!”
