Lauren Alaina posted her stunning rendition of Miley Cyrus’ latest smash-hit single on her social media channels on Monday (January 30). The “Road Less Traveled” artist danced as she delivered an acoustic cover of “Flowers,” which she sang while warming up backstage at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
“I can buy myself flowers/ Write my name in the sand/ Talk to myself for hours/ Say things you don't understand/ I can take myself dancing/ And I can hold my own hand/ Yeah, I can love me better than you can/ Can love me better/ I can love me better/ Can love me better/ I can love me better”
Alaina’s cover comes shortly after she sang along to the same song while applying makeup and styling her hair, showing the step-by-step process to achieve her flawless look. Cyrus dropped her new song on January 12, and it immediately skyrocketed with popularity on social media as Cyrus marked the beginning of her next era. Cyrus announced earlier this month that her long-awaited eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, is set to make its debut on March 10.
