Brett Young issued “apologies in advance” for the best reason… The country singer-songwriter showed that he’s working on new music when he posted a reel on Instagram, revealing a snippet of an unreleased track and a glimpse of a curious dog watching him work: “Apologies in advance for any dogo wogo noises you hear on the next record.”

Young is known for smash-hit songs throughout his career like “You Didn’t,” “Lady,” “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Here Tonight,” “Mercy,” “Sleep Without You” and others, to name a few. Young writes most of the songs that his fans know and love, and said that his wife, Taylor, is often the first person to hear them.

Young explained in a statement shared by his record label the Taylor, “usually gets the demo on a song write before I’ve even driven all the way home. Like, I’ll get it and then drive home and send it to her, and by the time I get home… That’s how she heard ‘Lady’ for the first time. She was like, ugly crying by the time I got home. So, it’s a fun process. I think Taylor’s my biggest fan. My mom would say she’s my biggest fan, but I think there’s a toss-up there.”

Young is gearing up for “5 Tour 3 2 1,” his nationwide trek that’s set to kick off in late March in Columbus, Ohio. The tour includes Morgan Evans and Ashley Cooke, ending in May in Los Angeles, California. See the dates below, and see Young’s reel here:
