Matt Stell grew up being shaped by the Florida coast and the farmland of Arkansas. At a young age, his musical interests were legends like Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt and Merle Haggard. Stell received his first guitar at age 12, but it wasn’t until a few years later that he made the decision to dive head first into music. In 2014, Stell moved to Music City and was signed with Wide Open Music. “I want to be on a stage somewhere, with people singing the songs I wrote back to me,” said Stell.
